Edward Twiddy is a Non-Executive Board Member of HM Treasury, where he chairs the Audit and Risk Committee, and Chair of Northstar Ventures, a leading North East venture capital firm.

A co-founder of Durham-based Atom Bank and former first Director of the North East Local Enterprise Partnership, Edward previously spent 13 years working at HM Treasury.

He is also a Professor in Practice at Durham University and brings extensive experience in economic policy, investment, innovation and regional development, offering a valuable perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing businesses across the North East.
